Nickelodeon Gives Patrick Star The Spotlight In All New TV Spinoff! Celeb Secrets

June 2024 · 2 minute read

Nickelodeon has just given the green light for the new SpongeBob SquarePants’ second spinoff television show, The Patrick Star Show!

The show will follow a young Patrick Star who is living with his family enjoys putting on his own show for his neighborhood right in the comfort of his bedroom. Things won’t always go smoothly and the shenanigans of the Star family are sure to interfere with Patrick’s TV show, but one thing is for sure: his bizarre life always makes for great television!

Bill Fagerbakke will reprise his role of our favorite lovable starfish, along with the rest of the original cast in their respective roles!

We’ll also be introduced to Patrick’s entire family in this series such as Patrick’s little sister, Squidina Star (Jill Tally), who is an aspiring executive producer that works behind the scenes to make sure his show is always running smoothly, his parents, loving, sea star mom who is a kooky oddball, Bunny Star (Cree Summer), fun-loving, happy-go-lucky dad, Cecil Star (Tom Wilson), and his genius grandfather, GrandPat Star (Dana Snyder). Patrick’s grandpa, along with his parents, each support Patrick in their own hilariously absurd ways.

The announcement comes the same day as the release of the first spinoff, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, which debuted on the new streaming platform, Paramount+.

We are so excited to take a deeper dive into Bikini Bottom and know more about our favorite lovable starfish from under the sea in such a unique way! The series is expected to be released this summer on Nickelodeon.
